Just finished making like 500 tamales with my mom. Realized there has to be a easier way, has anyone used any of the tamale machines out there ? looking for any advice or recommendations out there. Looking to make quite a bit in the future.

Have not. Quick story though....I wanted my wife to learn and make tamales like my grandmother and mother, so her and I went for an all day tamale making day....man that is serious work! -
I bought the little plastic ,rectangle masa spreader and it increased my home production pretty good. It sure beats a spoon. Don't know anything about a tamale making machine.Comment

I found a manual tamale press that shoots out the meat surrounded by masa for around $ 500.00. It can make like 40 tamales a minute. Then you only have to wrap it in the corn shuck for steaming or cooking it. There is a electric one for 5 grand out there but I would have to make a whole lot to clear a profit.Comment

The fastest way is the little dinty Moore tamales in chili.... They're canned but they make a mean campfire food!Comment
