i can't believe what a softy I've turned into when it comes to my dogs.

Growing up (NE Oklahoma) our dogs never came into the house. We had quail dogs that stayed in the yard. When it got below freezing we put some extra straw in their dog houses and when really cold dad would run a cord out there and hook up a drop light for a little extra
heat. I have somehow gone from that, to this:

This dog is sleeping in MY CHAIR - the "dad chair" that no one in the family would think of occupying, especially when a sporting event is on. Now, during a bowl game I am sitting elsewhere because she has been feeling puny and looks so comfortable I don't want to disturb her. It's the dad chair! What has happened to me?
    Getting soft, I reckon....

I have ask the wife about her bunch of beast and who has who trained? We have 3 dogs 2 started out as someone else's pet and became orphans. They are part of our family and spend less time outdoor than I do. Just enjoy and know your not alone. Some day I might have a dog to spend time with outdoors and maybe even hunt with.

Mine are outside...but their doghouse is a 2 room condo, entry hallway leads to the bedroom. There is also a heating mat on the floor, 2 dogs, 2 exact houses, but they sleep in the same house. Weims, 85# and 65#.
