      Carl Dyer moccasins. Its like being barefoot. Mine are the Arapaho and double soled with elkskin lining. Yeah, they are expensive, I paid 300 bucks for mine, custom made, you have to outline your feet on paper and send it to them, and measure your instep, yet I have had mine for 20 years. I don't wear socks with them either, you don't need to no matter how cold. Take care of them and it will be the best investment on the hunting side. I love to stalk in the late of the year. Wet or dry.
      It could also be my red ancestors blood.
