One of many from yesterday. High tide made it tough early. Fished hard for only a couple of eats. Then the tide started falling and it was on. Crashing and crawling fish everywhere. Nothing more exciting then seeing backs out of the water!

Those are the best of fishing days for sure.

Replying to the Campeche trip? If so, yes we fished 8 weights the entire time. Lots of fun and I will probably take a 6 next time too.

The only time I would have wanted a 10 was when we found some bigger fish in a small creek. My buddy jumped a big one that the guide estimated between 65-70 pounds. In a mangrove lined creek, a 12 probably would have been even better for a fish like that, but, we did not expect to see a fish that big. Then on the last day, I jumped one that was probably 50 in the lagoon that opens up to that same creek.

Awesome. Thanks. I may have to hang on to my 10 wt.

I honestly never looked at the make. Some sort of Panga'esque style skiff they use.

Nice. Hard to beat the fun you can have with those little guys.

                      If I went back (and I will ) i would take 2 8's 2 6's and a 10.

Great pictures. Let's keep this thread going.

Some pics from my recent trip to the smoky mountains. I targeted the natural reproducing fish(read small) at higher elevation tributaries, and not the 20"+ hatchery fish they dump in the bigger rivers.
