My son working on some nymphing in Rapid City. Rapid creek is loaded with decent browns and the water level is perfect this week.

That’s awesome. I’ve only been fly fishing for a couple years now and I’m obsessed. It’s great to see your son starting so young. Congrats to your boy and you as well.

Anyone interested in going with me in October to Tahiti, specifically, Anna Atoll? Fly fishing for, among other things, giant trevally. See the link.

Anaa Atoll located in French Polynesia is one of the most unique, remote and stunning saltwater fly fishing destinations in the world.

I thought I would also share this picture of a “big” Golden I caught a while back high up in the John Muir section of the Sierras. In the streams they are plentiful, but they do not get big. We are now past the Golden Trout section.

I would pass out if I caught one like that!

If we were not headed to Canada in September I would be interested. Please post up on the trip after. That sounds like a dream vacation
