    bobcat mount

Does anyone know someone to mount a bobcat and the cost? I'm in the Conroe area. I killed a nice cat yesterday and don't know if I should tan the hide or mount it.

Bobcat mounts should start around the $600 range, and good ones go up from there. They are tricky to get right and quality isn't cheap.

Not in your area...in Kerrville. But for price comparison.

Most bobcat mounts I have seen look like the mold used was too small and they are not that impressive. The good ones, the ones that actually look like the bobcat you killed, usually cost about a $1000

Southern Wings in Huntsville Drive north 20 miles and check out their studio. I think you'll be impressed. Let Jason know I sent you, may hook a brother up.

A little farther from you, but American Wildlife Taxidermy in Humble did a stellar job on mine a couple of years ago. I would go there in a heartbeat. Good luck wherever you go. And don't be afraid to spend a little extra to get it done right. Nothing like spending several hundred dollars on something that looks like it belongs in a cartoon.

Just tan the hide and get the skull cleaned. Then you will never have to worry about a rediculous looking bobcat mount in your house.

I dropped mine of to a fella names Daryl Rainer in deer park in late October. He chargered me $425 mouth closed. I have not received it back yet but saw 2 others in his shop that looked pretty darn good
