? on Employee pricing discount at Cabelas

I got in the mail today a certificate for an employee pricing good for me until January 4th.

Has anyone used this before? If so what is the discount or does it depend on item purchased?

Depends on purchase but it took almost 10% off my purchase.

Cabelas brand items wil be a lil better. Maybe 15-20% tops. Everything else will be 10% tops.

^^^ He's right. The employee pricing gets the price comparable to Academy.

Cabelas name products should be 20-25% off. All the others depend on manufacturer. At least, that's how it was 6 years ago when I worked there.

When we went to the after hours deal where we got employee pricing, it only applied to items not already on sale. So many items are on "sale" that the employee pricing didn't do much. Not sure if the same hold true for the coupon.

Last time they sucked me into that it was lame. 5-10 % if cabelas branded a little more. Wasn't worth the gas money. I am an a fan of them but this was not worth it to me
