For no more square footage than a typical hunting blind has I couldn't see an advantage to the big one. I own a big buddy and that sucker is a propane eater. That's why I wanted to ask about these smaller buddies. Unless you're heating a big blind or have a blind that doesn't insulate very well I couldn't see much need for the big buddy.

Tried mine this morning. Warmest I've stayed in a blind. No movement with the deer though.

God Bless and Happy New Year to all.

I have the small Mr buddy and have since purchased the lil buddy. I haven't had time to hunt this year but looking forward to hunting hogs after season. I'm sure like last year, they'll be worth every penny!

None....in fact I would discourage it. They are way too big and hot for a standard blind. The portable is perfect in my 6x6 with a window open for shooting.

Will the 16.4 oz coleman propane fuel cylinders at academy work with these things?

I got the big buddy myself, rather have to much then not enough.

Yes, those are what I'm using. 6pk for $7.

The problem is that low is too much on that dude in my blinds....way overkill..

When that little bottle runs out early on a cold day you'll find yourself packing up early and heading home
I got the adapter and use a big bottle.
