The girls and I are at the ranch on the final leg of our Christmas Tour across Texas!
I've been wanting to get Michaela to the Killin Tree for her first experience bowhunting off the ground! There are a couple of mature bucks that have been regulars on the camera (until my batteries died a couple of weeks ago.)
Of course, with bucks chasing, patterns may have changed. I'm hoping to see some new bone over the next few days!
The wind is right for our setup.
Michaela is in the chain on stand while I'm filming from the brushy cover at the base of the tree. I'm sitting on an old-school Swivellimb with the base on the ground, using it as a stool. Mo's feet are right next to my ear!
I'm excited that Mo is getting to experience the Killin Tree!
