Double sided tape for bug deflectors?

I've already looked some on Amazon. The auto parts stores only have the thin type and it's different than the original that comes with the bug shields.

Is the 3M double sided foam tape similar to the original?

Look up a company called Essentra, they will have something that will work.

Call the bug deflector company. They will usually send you some for free.

I used the 3M tape for that purpose and it has held up for the 8 months it's been on.

If it's the 3M VHB tape, it's some very strong tape.

Thanks guys. Looks like the manufacturer was bought out by a competitor , so I gave them a call about the tape and am waiting to hear back. If they don't have any I'm also awaiting a response from Essentra.

I just put some 3m tape from Pep Boys on my bug deflector last week. I will go find the brand I bought

3M Auto | Advanced Super strength Molding tape.

This stuff worked perfect. I had to remove the original stuff and then add a few extra pieces. I tested it from TX to VA and VA to MS and then TX. Held up just fine.
