Seen about 15 since daylight, one was a nice 9 pt. This wind is relentless! Good luck to everyone this weekend.

Got to the blind early yesterday. I was sitting by 2:00pm. It was a little breezy and freakin' hot. Feeder went off around 4:20pm and the first deer showed up around 5:10pm. By 5:25pm I was covered up with Axis. I had at least 25 in a tight feeding frenzy.

There was a very nice buck so I waited for him to separate from the group. Unfortunately a doe came by and got his attention and it was off to the races. He never stopped chasing her and I watched them both run out of sight. Put my scope back on the herd and decided to pluck a nice fat Axis spike. Shot to the base of the neck and it was curtains.
