External Storage for photos

Need to get something for extra storage of photos for my daughter's laptop. Any suggestions on brands and size? Was thinking of something 1Tb - 3Tb.

I picked up a 2tb at frys. I think the brand was western. Found it on sale.

I have a passport, 2 tb I believe. I have barely used a fraction of the capacity. It was a gift so I'm not sure of the price paid.

lI usually watch slickdeals, they have some good deals on external hard drives often. I have had both western digital and Seagate, both havent had a problem. I would go 2tb max, I am paranoid and dont like to put all my eggs in one basketdif something's were to fail.

I have a Seagate 3 terabyte that I got from Best Buy..........has a lot of good features and 3tb is A TON of storage space.
Best buy has them on sale for $107 I believe
