Using the smoker as an oven?

I've heard of people using their oven as a smoker somehow, but what about the other way around?

I'm making some pigs in a blanket and was considering getting my smoker up to about 350 and doing them for 20 minutes like I do in the oven. I don't think oak would oversmoke them in 20 minutes, and they'd be tasty. Anybody bake things in a smoker?

I haven't in my smoker, but have a lot on my grill. I have a pizza stone and it works great for baking on the grill. I'd wonder about the smoke flavor in the smoker.

Since it's for a party, I think I'll do it in the oven and save the experimenting for home. I've been on a smoked everything kick lately.

It's a lot of fun seeing what all you can make on a grill or smoker. I've done bread and rolls, pizza and even tortillas.
