I had my buck of a lifetime at 20 yrds and drew back on him. It was too dark and I could of made the shot, but I couldn't find the sweet spot. I let him walk and didn't regret it.

I'll add another vote for the Meat Eater show. The guy's name is Steven Rinella, and I like how they show him actually butchering, cooking and eating the animals he shoots. He also hS a cookbook of game recipes.
If you haven't seen one of these shows, watch one sometime.

and I hate watching guys take 60 yd bow shots at animals also, I don't care how often they practice, to me that's not ethical.

I read one of his books last month "Meat Eater" and it was a very honest and revealing look into his life growing up. I have watched a few episodes on youtube (don't have sportsman/outdoor channel) and it was enough for me to pick up the book.

If you want to read a story about a hunter who is open and honest and owns up to his mistakes, etc, you will enjoy the book.

Add me to the list of people that doesn't like it when they try to gloss over a bad shot. Bad shots happen, but be honest about it.

I also can't stand the loud whisper. I won't watch a show where they whisper all the time. It's annoying as heck. I prefer the shows where they speak in a regular voice to the camera and/or narrate after the fact.
