I never wanted this thread started, though I knew it would have to be. Such a great man and friend. We've lost a huge part of the foundation of this family.

Prayers go out to his family. I'm certain they've prepared for this but they need to remain in our thoughts and prayers as we ask for strength in their time of loss.

    Thanks, Steve...God Bless You.

I also never met JP but had occasion to talk with him years ago outside of the forum before the crash. RIP JP and God bless you and your family.

Not sure what to say...JP was one of the first guys that welcomed me here on tbh & it's strange how you develop such strong bonds with people you rarely see, but still have this friendship that is there.

What a loss...prayers of peace for his family during this time.

So, apparently between the time that I left the bar that I wrote this thread at and when I arrived home, I can no longer edit the original thread. The number of phone calls that I have received is overwhelming. I do not yet know any details about the services. It didnt really seem an appropriate subject while visiting with Deb today. I will certainly update this thread as such things are planned though.

Also, I suppose this might be the right place for the following...

JP, do me one more favor and kick Jaspro and Allan in the *** for me!

                          Steve

May he rest in peace. The struggle that he had been engaged in is over and the pain is gone. Prayers for his family.

Rest in peace JP. I am a better man from having the privilege of meeting you and sharing a day on the water with you. Prayers up for you and your family.
