    Easton Arrows

I was looking at arrow charts for spine on the Easton arrows. It doesn't appear that they are the same and as simple as others. lol I am at 28.5" draw 70lbs looking at the bloodline arrows which one would I need for the correct spine???

At least a 400, maybe a 340 depending on the bow.

From the arrow selection chart in their catalog (See page 45 in link below), I think you would be looking at a .330 spine/size (Group J Arrow) from the specs you listed above...and yes I agree it is as clear as mud.

I shoot the same weight and draw and have been using 340 Easton axis

Another vote for .340, assuming 100gr head.

340 would be what i would recommend. I think the 400 would be too weak.

Ok cool deal guys thanks. I was looking at an old gold tip box and it looked close to 400 or 340 kinda a border line that's all I had to compare.

Usually better to go with stiffer spine when you on border of 2 different spines.

This is what I have used. Straight from a box of Easton arrows

                          I have a bow at those same specs. I shoot a 300 spine but 330 is ideal. I don't think a 400 is enough

I have seen a few different charts with different recommendations for your specs.
ranging from 330 to 400, and yes that new easton chart is hard to read.I believe the Easton Bloodlines will be some good arrows.
I am not an expert, but here is what I shoot.

I am still shooting my old 2007 Bear Instinct. 29" 70#
I still have 4 Easton ST Epic 400 at 8.6gpi with 2" blazers. bought a dozen with the bow in 2007.
I also have 6 Easton ST Excel 400 at 8.6gpi with 2" blazers. bought half dozen in 2012.
I shoot Slick Trick Magnums in 100 gr. that have same point of impact as 100 gr field points
                              my 3 pin sight is set for 20, 30, & 40 yards.
I shoot very tight groups at 40 yrds and under that I dont shoot at the same spot on target for fear of breaking arrows or cutting fletching.
Every deer I have shot with this setup as been a complete pass through.
Most of the pigs i have shot with this setup have been complete pass throughs.

on a side note. after hunting season When walmart puts hunting items on clearance.
                              For $1-$2 each,
I have bought Allen Pro series Carbon Arrows. The tag says Carbon Exacta
29" 45-70 lbs #90529A and the bar code # is 26509 90529. They have 2" vanes that are similar in shape to blazers just not as stiff.
These arrows shoot the same point of impact as my eastons, and I use them for turkeys,
coons, rabbit, squirrel, ect... and anything I dont want to risk losing a good expensive arrow on.
pair this with some clearance cheap broad heads, field points or judo points, and you have a cheap arrow to fling at anything you want.
