    Cold Front Question......

OK green screen. I have a chance to get in the blind tomorrow and will do just that. My question is about hunting while a cold front blows through. I know the day or two after is better but due to family plans, Christmas, being a dad......etc....etc.. My blind time is limited.

It's been hot lately, today was in the 70's. Tomorrow right at first light a front will be blowing through. Temps dropping into the high 40's with 15-20 mph wind and 30% chance of rain.

What have been your experiences with deer movement when hunting WHILE a front blows through?

Ok as soon as I started this I decided to search "Cold Front" and saw all the threads already about it......rookie move by me. Ha!

Generally right before the front and during is best. There is a rapid rise in the barometric pressure at this time and it gets deer on their feet. They feel the pressure change and know there is a change in climate approaching. Should be great over the next couple of days. Really just depends on the strength of the front.

The deer have gone almost exclusively nocturnal lately. Im hoping the change in weather will get em up. Moon is perfect as well so things are looking good if the wind doesn't pick up to much and have em ducking for cover.

Hunt, you never know and will never have them figured out.
