Thanks for your prayers. He is in surgery...a 5 1/2 hour job.

Prayers amigo...one of my best friends is a cardio vascular surgeon & did a quad on my Dad & his own even!! Little late on this & just got back in from the ranch.

It's a scary process for everyone but it's amazing what these guys can do & just another day at work for them. Knowing you, I'm sure you found a top shelf Dr & is in great hands. I still can't believe they have them up & walking the next day. Hopefully & very likely they will be using the mammary arteries from the chest...little more painful recovery but gives him the best new plumbing on the primary areas for the heart. We had a guy on our lease in his 40's have it done last season & he feels like a new man.


I have an open invite to go watch this procedure, but have no interest...not sure why I get rattled when it comes to people vs animals, but they would be picking me up off the floor.
