My 44 year old son has 75% blockage in one artery and is having bypass surgery tomorrow morning at Baylor heart Hospital in Plano. He had a heart attack 10 years ago, at age 33, and they could not install a stent due to the location of the blockage. He has taken blood thinners and had it checked annually, but he has been having shortness of breath and some pain. They did a new test to measure his blood flow and decided to do a bypass, so...we could sure use some prayers for a successful outcome.
I have been worried that, after 10 years, the blockage surely had gotten worse, by we are thankful that he had it checked, and they can repair the problem. Nevertheless, it is still unsettling, especially for his wife and mother!
