limb saver string silencers - Question

Quick question for the green screen.

I'm having a problem keeping my silencers in one piece after about 50 or so shots. I have winters choice string.

    I shoot an Elite E-500
    70lbs
    29-1/2 draw
    Gold Tip Arrows

They are not very high quality in my opinion. Bowjax seem to be better. Catwhiskers are much more durable than either.

Get the Limb savers string leaches meant for crossbows. They are straight and do not have the angled ends. Mine have lasted for several years with no problems.

That old bow doesn't have enough in it to tear them up!

I was referring to my 'other' bow, the PSE Team Primos. The RWH has the beaver balls on it.

The limb savers 'trick' was on the bowsite years ago when they 1st came out.

Don't have much experience with string leeches as they wouldn't stay on the string long enough to tell if they did any good. Always had good results with the cat whiskers. Don't need any of it now but build yourself an STS type deal. Might cost you 15-20 dollars and nothing on your string. PM if your interested. I have one that I made and don't need anymore.

I've tied pieces of silicon aquarium tubing on my string with a tight overhand knot and left 1/2 inch ends and had that work well in an emergency. Seriously, these Sims Super Sting Leechs work great on my compound, just serve them in unlike the picture.
