Lowrance Elite 5 hdi problem

I installed a gold sd card in my 000-11145-001. When I turn it on the sd card symbol shows in the bottom right corner of the screen. The alarm message pops up saying to press enter to continue. I pressed enter several times over a five minute span and nothing happens. the screen never changes. It like it is locked up. Can you please help me hget past this stage. thanks

What gold card is installed? Is it a navionics card? My BIL is a rep. Go to his webpage CoreyStanleyfishing.com it has a like to his FB page he can and will answer any questions. Even if it's not navionics ask him anyway.

Update the unit software.
