    Help-Snow skiing question

Looking at booking a snow skiing trip for the family in March. Anybody have any places they recommend. I am looking at either Colorado or Wyoming, but not against Idaho or New Mexico either. Help a brotha out!

Consider Crested Butte in Colorado. Nice big mountain with lots of long runs. Some of the condos there are ski in ski out which is great for families.

If you don't mind flying, take a look at Park City Utah. Great mountain and easy to get to. You fly into Salt Lake and in 45 minutes you are there.

Do your kids ski at all?
If not then you need to go to Keystone. It is a family mountain, great ski schools, easy to navigate, perfect for beginners. There is actually a run that is basically dedicated to beginners and it is the biggest run at the resort. It is also the closest big resort to the airport. Like previously stated go to VRBO and find you a condo.

I booked a condo at Crested Butte Resort, March 9 - 14. I tell you what, they dont give those trips away! JEEZUM!

The wife and kids have never even seen mountains much less snow-skied. I used to live in Grand Junction a several years back, and would go pretty regular during the season.

Any good leads on some decent clothes, i am realizing fast, this is going to get pricey quick!

I wear my street clothes, with merino base layer. I just put on powder pants and wear a Columbia Titanium jacket. I've skied and boarded for 40 years, and this is the best way to go. When done skiing, just shed powder pants and your set to go where ever, and not be stuck in your "tourist" ski clothes.

Park City with Deer Valley handy by shuttle. We quit rental cars after the first year. Massive slopes at Park City and night skiing. Deer Valley every slope is groomed every day, with sun bathing area that time of year. Good family ski packages avail.
