Guess I'm still interested to hear from the folks who've probably never stepped foot on this ranch but know the. " real" story.

Believe me it may be high fence but this ranch is the most diverse piece of land I've ever been on. It hunts like it's thousands of acres and its definitely not hunting deer in a pen! These critters make you work for it! Congrats again to you and the hunter Lee.

I don't think it matters whether or not it's introduced. You put in a lot of time and money to manage your deer herd. Obviously the hard work paid off, so let all the naysayers say what they want about HF. You did a bang up job!

Fully agree ! Way back when, many deer were introduced to Texas from all over. Lots of young folks can't remember when there were NO DEER in most of the state. I do ! Just sighting a deer when I was a kid was a successful hunt. If you actually killed one, you were THE MAN ! Great buck, no matter the circumstances !
