Do you still have the book.

You might try re programming it??

Mine is going on 3.5 years but only used about 1/2 the week

Yup yup. Silicone spray on the arm and play with the stall force setting. Hope it starts working for you quickly.

Thanks, Stan and everyone else. Yes, I still have the book and was wondering if I should try to reprogram or look at fuses or the lubrication. Looks like I'll start simple and I may get to reprogram it.

Not trying to rub salt in the wound. But the best thing you can do I throw the MM in the trash and get an Apollo!

That's not an option - unless you plan to give me $1600 to replace my current system. It is either fix this one or hire Tatoo to operate the gate.

              This is true.....

Have you tried replacing the battery? I know, we went thru this last time....

Buy one at Wally World and try it. You can take it back if that's not the problem

Oh I understand, I wanted one for years before we got it.

I must have missed the replaced it part.....I meant this year

I just know that interstate will tell you a battery is good even when it isn't.

Things you learn on the road.....

I hear ya. Except the Interstate store didn't test it the second time.

I had a similar issue with one of my clients gates and ended up replacing the battery, if there is even a small difference in voltage and amps, gate opening was iffy at best.

We had one doing the same thing but it was an Apollo. I started looking at it and found one of the wires had a bare spot up against the electric motor on the gate itself.

lameduck - I'm on that like a duck on a June bug. I sent you a pm.

I appreciate everyone's comments. Rudyl - you are correct, anything less than 12 amps will shut it off.

I love my mighty mule. It's kept right on working even when it's gotten down to -15 here. I have my on a 12.5 w of solar and it just keeps on rocking. The only time I've had a problem like what you're describing was when the wind has blown so hard it triggers the sensor. I did what was suggested earlier and turned the sensor down all the way, now no issues.
