we killed two others off the ranch the next 2 years that were a 132 3/8" main frame 9 with matching mulie forks on his G2's 19 1/2" inside field dressed 87 lbs ( looked like an absolute beast!) he was 6 1/2. And another that was 144 7/8" super mass almost 18" mainframe 10 w/ matching kickers on his g2s but only one made the 1" mark, he was 7 1/2 years old. None of these deer were on protein. These little hill country deer will actually do some preety phenominal stuff ( compared to what is usually killed before they reach 4) if you let them grow up. I am a taxidermist and took in 8 bucks from this Bee Cave area this year that scored from 136"-148". I mounted a buck last year that was a bow kill from just north of San Antonio low fence that was 167" slick 10, he was 6 1/2.

Alaskan 4 of the bucks i mentioned above came from down Hamilton Pool road. I biggest buck i have seen killed in this area was a 154" 10 point. He was a bow kill and was killed on a place that was 50 acres off Hamilton Pool. Trey Carpenter ( I believe thats his name) works for TPWD and is an official scorer he had a picture of it. He showed us it when he was scoring the deer above for P & Y. The best deer i have ever seen in Travis county with my own eyes was a low 160's type deer. There is a high fence ranch on 71 headed out towards Spicewood that i know has several bucks in the 200's on it. They brought deer in though.
