    Which scope for my .270

This will mainly be a hunting rifle but I want to feel confident at 400 yards. Has a thumb hole stock, heavy barrel and aftermarket trigger right now....time for a scope!

Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20x50 1"tube w/target turret (found one for $599)

    Vortex Viper HS-T 6.5-24x50 30mm tube w/turrets and side focus(found one for $499)

Weaver Super Slam 4-20x50 30mm tube w/turrets and side focus (found one for $420)

Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50 PST 30mm tube w/turrets and side focus, crosshairs w/lighted reticle (found one for $520)

Just to throw in another. I have a Nikon Monarch 6-24X50 SF BDC on my Sendero 300 Win Mag. I can make shots to 1000 easy. I actually own about 5 different nikons. But of the above I would go Viper HS-T.

6.5-20 is a lot for a hunting rifle with no decent rest. That model zeiss in the 4-12 would work nicely.

Just a side note, most of this rifles shooting will be from a box blind, I can shoot around 600 yards in all directions from my stand, I have some much lighter rifles for ladder stands, climbers, etc

Check out the Nikon 6x24-50 BDC it's awesome but picking a scope for your rifle is really what u like everyone has different views through the glass.

I see better out of Nikon scopes idk why but am a Nikon fan!

Good luck with any scope above they all great optics partner

None of the above. Go with a Burris. Same quality at half the price.

I'm still open for suggestions...the 4 above are just what I've found good deals on recently

cant go wrong with Zeiss, and they have a lifetime replacement if something breaks.

I have a Leopold scope on my 270 and it works like a charm.
