personal story about Hap Glaudi ... back in 1985 my grandfather called in to the Hap Glaudi radio show when the topic was about local high school recruiting. My grandfather (RIP ) provided all my statistics , size, speed, ypc, grades, TD's, etc...

Hap was impressed and gave me some props on air noting some local college should give this kid Blake Stevens a serious look .

within a week I had 10 letters from various coaches and schools requesting my highlight tape.

that was my 15 minutes of fame, Thank You Hap Glaudi

most know my story, I turned down CFB scholarships to Millsaps, Rhodes, Hampton Sydney, Tulane 1/2 ride, McNeese, etc... because I wanted to party like a rock star at LSU

wouldn't change a thing about my past as I'm alive and sober today, God knew all along what his plan was for me

Glad you're here CB! I could not remember if I had ever heard of anyone before him. Used to listen to him coming back from the farm and Dan Dubuc or Frank Davis driving there.
