1st Axis buck-Guadalupe River SP

Got my first ever axis buck this past week on a drawn hunt at Guadalupe River State Park. He stepped out at 40 yards and after a hit from my .308 went about the same distance.

Not much, just a couple of does. However some of the other hunters saw more than me including some good whitetail bucks.
