I recently purchased some moreno wool base layer from minus 33 and wanted to let everyone know just how impressed i was with the product. I wore the base layer every morning and evening from December 7th-14th. The wool breaths great and is in no way itchy. I hunted in temps from low 40's- mid 60's and was never uncomfortable whether it be hunt or cold in any way.
Of all i think i was most impressed with how the base layer does not hold any sent what so ever. I smelled it on Thursday and was surprised it smelled no different than it did the first day i put it on. Now, im sure you are skeptical, but i also had my wife smell it and when a women says it does not smell in any way you know it does not smell. The overall cost of the moreno wool is not really any different that the cost of my UA cold gear was and it out preforms the UA hand down, especially when i comes to holding sent.
I can tell you if you happen to be in the market for quality base layer, you can not go wrong with the 100% moreno wool, regardless of which company makes it. I know i will not leave on a hunt in the fall or winter without it with me and will be purchasing more in the future.
