I had that surgery in october '13, it sucked... but it was worth it because my shoulder is back to 100% now and better than ever. Just make sure to not overdo it at first and be prepared to not move for at least 2 weeks. My surgery was more intense due too me being stupid and just pushing through the pain... also those pain pills they give you are amazing, just straight knocked me out. Good luck and prayers for a speedy recovery!
Little late to the game on this but I have had a pain in my tricep area (maybe shoulder) for almost a month. Went to doc and he says ibuprofen for a few weeks. Did yours start this way??

Mine started like that over a year ago. Just been pushing through it and finally got tired of the pain. Had MRI Monday evening and today doc said we could do shots and stuff and put it off a while but I said heck no. Now!!
I did the shots and stuff until February. I was good to go by next hunting season. My wife claimed that I was the dumbest person ever because hunting was a terrible reason to postpone surgery. On the plus side, I met my deductible in February so the rest of the year was relatively inexpensive.
