I'm off on a venture to score the biggest whitetail ever taken with my bow. Truck is pointed south and I'm nervous as can be.
Some of you may know, the initial hunt to Africa with Pigstika and Deadeye Deb was cancelled due to some tragic and uncontrollable circumstances. So, other arrangements have been made.
I'll spend the next few days trying to shoot either a deer or possibly multiple deer that I have previously only dreamed of shooting. Remember, I grew up Bowhunting the hill country.
I've been in contact with the rancher for months. Great guy whom I look forward to spending lots of time with here shortly.
Currently I'm about 10 miles from the gate and getting more excited the closer I get.
No need to ask where I am, what county, high fence, low fence etc... Leave all that for some other thread and let the pics do the talking. It won't be hard to figure out.
To my sweet princess Ashley, I love you forever. You will always be my sweet angel. Let's you and I go sit in the brush for a few days.
Hunt will begin in roughly two hours.
