    Texas Hogs

Does one part of the state have bigger hogs than other parts overall?

    #2
Parts of the state with more water usually carry big hogs. Southeast texas is good for them due to agriculture and rivers.

East Texas, southeast Texas. Lots of water and food and brush to hide in

Do we have to post to both of your threads?

Seen bigguns all over southeast and south Texas... so far, luckily we've only had a couple stragglers come through our place out west... but one of those was a biggun too. Beautiful hog I'd love to get a shot at...

We got some big hogs up in the panhandle. Buddy shot a sow that weighed 230 and there was a boar with her that made her look small.

The largest concentration of BIG pigs that I have ever hunted was along the Clear Fork of the Brazos in northern Shackleford/Southern Throckmorton Counties

My guess would be no. Just higher numbers in some areas.
