Sentimental Buck 112 back from Buck

I've had my first 112 for 40 years and even had it under my suit coat when I was married in 1977. Several years later I broke the blade and put it on a grinder to make a new point. The blade was then real short and wouldn't hold an edge...
Lost it here in the house 20 years ago and found it a couple of months ago. Contacted Buck with my story and for $10 they would make it like new. They even fixed the holster snap for free and sent it back.

    Came in today's mail.

Love it Mikey. I'm sure that knife could tell some cool stories.

Love buck knives!!! I'm a huge fan of the 110. That's an awesome story. I've got one of my dads that I broke the tip off of so he gave it to me. He put a new tip back on it and I've had it since I was twelve and it still holds an edge like new.

I love my buck knives, all I've ever owned. I've heard their customer service is great but haven't had to use it yet. Glad you found yours. Amazing the things we lose in our own homes.

I really enjoy stories like this. When companies take care of their customers. To the company it may be no big deal but the customer it means a lot. I still have the buck knife my grandfather gave me.
