What a trip that was, left out at 5 a m and got back home at 10 p m, pretty much non stop driving. Had a couple of glitches, when my buddy backed the truck off of the trailer it rolled all the way across a busy gas station parking lot, he just missed three different vehicles, I did not know what to think, he gets out of truck screaming '" no #@#@@##@! brakes " the outfit that did the conversion somehow drained all the brake fluid out of the brakes and did not refill, that was near disaster. Our rancher loaded the truck up on his trailer and took it across border and on to the ranch for us, only other glitch was an accident near Ballinger, they had the road shut down, we went cross country down gravel roads and jeep trails and finally got around it, probably delayed us a good hour or better, anyway we are headed down to Mexico Thursday for a week of hunting, hope the bucks are rutting by then.

We had a similar experience with an old top drive at the ranch this weekend.
One of the first (a 1979) didn't make the stop as scheduled....
Thank goodness there was a 2014 Chevy in front of it to catch it
The brakes got reworked this morning from the master cylinder back, new lines and all.
