Just got winded by a lone spike. Really wishing I had a north wind or was in my pop up.

Well? How did the hunt finish out? That kinda looks like some places along the Lampasas river?

It was a quiet evening. Only saw the one spike and he was really spooky and never came within 40 yards. He literally walked a 40 yard horseshoe around me, then was gone. Squirrels were in full force. Gonna try again in the morning.

The place is in Moffat and that is Belton lake you can see in the background.

I don't know if I'd get that carried away! I just really enjoy anything outdoors so I'm always looking for a reason to get out, and if I can help someone at the same time that's a plus!
