Visiting Cypress this weekend and want to take my Uncle duck hunting. I have Looked at google maps and see that the Brazos is seemingly the closest public to go. I am no asking for anyones spots or anything but would love to know if there is closer public or what would steer me in the right direction. I am a big duck hunter, just that part of TX is no longer my neck of the woods is all.

dont belive it matter what county, more your position relative to I-10. South of I-10=Closed, North of I-10= Open. As far as duck hunting in cypress, id call a guide that has property in Katy-prairie, most will do unguided hunts for 75 per person. as far as hunting the Brazos goes, if you find a way to legally put in let me know. If i were you Id call Tim Crawley with WGO Hunts. (936) 931-3727
