    Arrowhead - Bird Point

    Fellas in the know...Can you give me any details on this point? I found it about 16 inches down. The picture is the point on top of a nickel.

        I don't know, but I've never seen one with with a base that pronounced. Very cool!

                Scientist has examined 100's of arrowheads off these so-called "bird points" and extracted DNA from large game like elk, bison, and deer. So maybe we had it all wrong!

                  From the shows Ive seen we do have it all wrong.
                  I believe most of the smaller bird points were the primary BH for lg game.
                  anything bigger was a different weapon

                    Maybe it was like today...
                    You got guys who are crazy about spied who shoot radical cams and short brace heights and light arrows for more speed

                    Then on the other side of the spectrum are guys who shoot. Rounded cams...or no cams now heavy arrows all about foc and penetration.

                    Before all that technology we shot lighter heads and over draws.

                    Maybe the small heads were for speed freaks.
