    Best Adjustable bow

My daughter is wanting to buy her husband a compound bow for Christmas. I seem to remember him having some issues drawing a 60# bow two years ago when we were playing around with both trad and compounds. So I'm thinking it is safest to buy a bow with a lot of weight adjustment. I set up a Diamond Infinite edge about a month ago and it was fairly quiet and easy to tune. Not too bad for what the guy paid for it.

What are the other offerings from PSE, Bear, Bowtech? And what are your comments and thoughts about them?

I am so much into Trad bows that I have not kept up with the wheelie bows.

If you want the ultimate in adjustability then this may be your ticket. The edge will adjust from 5 lbs out to 70 lbs.
I just got my grandson one for Christmas and its a shooter.

if I could find a lefty one for around $200 I'd buy it as a back-up... They seem to be awesome bows. I talked a buddy into buying one recently and he's VERY happy so far.

You said husband so I'm guessing he has a longer draw 26-30? If so I'd suggest the diamond core over the edge. The core will perform better at longer draw lengths than the edge. It's only $100 more and still plenty adjustable on weight. 30ish to 70 lbs

OK, I will look at the Core also. She is thinking $400 budget but doesn't know anything about how stupid expensive compounds have become. That pretty much limits it to some of the store branded bows built by Bowtech and bottom end bows by Bear, PSE, and Diamond.

At one time I had purchased probably twenty five used compounds to play with, sell and trade, etc. It was an interesting experiment that put me into a couple of bows that I will keep for years (Mathews DXT, and Monster 7). My second favorite brand was Diamond which beat out Bear, Hoyt, and a couple of other brands that don't come to mind right now. Then I got into collecting old Bears bows and my archery life was turned back 50 to 75 years and I'm loving it.

              Thanks for the help.

No, I'm not close. Have her look up a local Hoyt dealer. They should be of great assistance.

                        Archery Country folks are awesome

I picked it up as a package deal with arrows and a release for $500 at Archery Country.
