Chronograph?

Are chrono's interchangeable? Would I be able to take the chrono I use at my local shop to the rifle range to determine muzzle velocity?

I do not know if there are ones rated to go only as high as, say 1,000fps and then others that would cover from 1,000 to 3,500.

I use mine for both archery and firearms. But I'm no chronograph expert by any means. What kind to do you have?

It should work for arrows or bullets. I think I noticed mine was rated to 5000fps. Needed one that high for my Mathews bow.

Not sure which kind it is. I've worked out a deal with the archery shop I shoot at to let me borrow it with a deposit.

Now I just need to check around to see which range has outlets near their firing line.

yea you should be able to shot a firearm through it. I (guess) the worst that can happen is it wont display...could be wrong
