Honestly, i have no idea. Were off CR 120. Were not exactly in Brownwood, but actually closer to Santa Anna. Prolly 3 miles north east of Santa Anna.

I am thinking or hoping the same thing about the second rut the action on our place was hit or miss over thanksgiving ornings were very slow.

I was up there on CR 118...north of lake Brownwood on wed-frid...saw over 30 total...some big bucks running off younger bucks and tons of movement....it was my own fault I didn't release an arrow...gotta quit over thinking sometimes....ha.

I just got back from my place out there and in the 3 days of hunting I may have seen 4 deer. The hunting was terrible this past weekend. I am about ready to write this year off as a loss.
