That's kind of how I felt. I have a 16 and a 17 left so some night I'll try them back to back.

I have a 16 as well and only bought 1 17. I might go back for another one to put up for a while.

How was the CBS? Picked up two bottles just haven’t tried them yet.

The first place I found them was selling at 17 a bottle... Nuhuh! Found a small liquor store selling for 10 so went ahead and bought it. I may buy one more to save till next year.

Glad I got to try it but at $24 a bottle, I don't think I'll be buying it again any time soon. It started off a little bitter on the end but the maple syrup sweetness kicked in after it warmed up. Good chocolate presence as well. Light barrel, nothing over powering. Good beer but $24 a bottle is nuts.

Prices for some of these barrel stouts is crazy. I've had great beer from surly, but at the price they ask for half their stuff I dont even bother trying most of it.

Totally agree with ya. And that's why I don't buy Deschuttes Abyss anymore.

Did the hops hold up to the barrel?

Good stuff. Up here in Iowa if someone goes to Wisconsin they have to bring a case of it back.

I had one of our clerks at work bring it back to houston. It didn't last long.

This is the top beer I have had in 2017. It’s an IPA from Santa Fe brewing called Autonomous.

Picked up a Prarie artisan pirate bomb today. Never had it but heard really good things. Aged in rum barrels, and bottled at 15%
