Oktoberfest is my 2nd favorite beer style behind Belgian quads/strong dark ales. Shiner makes a solid version. Avery Kaiser is my favorite. Other good ones are Real Ale, Hacker-Pschorr and Spaten.

Let me just say that I'm not an everyday drinker. Most times a 6 pack of Dos X's will last me a week or two unless Im at the ranch or at good party. However here lately I've gotten into sampling beers. Its fun!! I sampled a few the last couple weeks.
This beer is great!! Even the wife liked it.

It might be easier to get in Austin and San Antonio. Put some feelers out there as well. They will be getting some bottles.

Not the best thing Shiner has put out but it's drinkable. Kinda reminds me of the prickly pear.

Not bad for a pale ale not much pepper flavor though.
