If you have successfully taken a hunting product from concept to big box retail I would sure like to pick your brain.

I have a meeting Friday with a medium sized retailer to try and place my "T Post Camera Mounts" in their stores.

As well meaning as folks are here to offer advice... I'm really only looking to hear from someone who has actually done it.

    Please PM me.

I might consider some sort of partnership with the right individual.

    Thanks

If it's the purchasing dept, go in prepared with how many units you have on hand and what you are prepared to sell them at on a wholesale level.
Remember at a retail level each square inch has value, it needs to be worth it for the retailer to fill those square inches with you're product.
Keep packaging sizes in mind, you may want to look at stickers that can go right on the T Post mount.
I have helped develop and sell a patent as well as get other things inside of stores, not outdoor related.
I've also had to purchase tons of stuff and confidence goes along way.
Dont let them make you nervous, they're interested or you wouldn't be having this meeting.
Hopefully the sniper hog light guy will chime in, I'm sure has more valuable input than I do.
      Good luck

Thanks for that Sparkles. The meeting will be with a buyer from the department I would be associated with. Their advice was to use this meeting to try to get a follow up meeting. I don't think I will necessarily be closing a deal Friday.
I will be spending every waking (and sleeping too probably) moment before Friday working on how to make my pitch.

It really is a good product you have, I'm sure you'll do fine.
Hopefully the buyer has a TC tied to a tree with a stick behind it all rigged up and is constantly having to readjust the camera.
