    outback vs switchback

What is the pro's and con's of both? And which one would you rather have?

Switchback is a smoother bow, and I personally think a better bow.
Outback and Lx are the only two bows where Mathews incorporated a draw-stop, and it wasn't that good.
Also, the string lengths on Outback and LX, should be shorter,(too much twist to put bow in spec).

Rocky hit it dead on. every time I pulled my outback out I had to re-tune it or re-sight it. I never had any problems with my switchback.

I have owned the LX, Outback, Drenlin and the DXT.... I shoot ALOT everyday...

Trust me they have refined them over the years, My LX was a tack driver with a little hand shock but was virtually maintenance free except for a string change...Laid alot of foam down and whacked plenty of animals with it.

Outback , well it was a whole different story, 30 shots into the break-in and bang..... Bottom limb split down the center torking the lower cam and cutting the string, very glad to see the cable held it almost together..It could have gotton ugly......got it all put back together and used it for a couple years, shoots well, better than the LX, it was a improvement..

The Switchbacks that I have shot were a "slight" improvement over the Outback... would I buy a Switchback over a Outback, yeap I sure would, there were enough improvements to it to justify the purchase over a Outback..

Pros and cons having already been stated, I'd take a Switchback hands down.
