    Girlfriends Bow!

My girlfriend Mindy is in love with shooting skeet! I took her on her first dove hunt this year. She did better than expected. On the other hand she's very interested in bowhunting! I attached a picture of her carrying my setup back to the truck! Ha!

My question for the green screen!

    What's the best starter bow?

What's a good poundage to start and kill with?

Any other information would be helpful aswell!

    Thanks,

Go to a pro shop and have them set up an assortment for her to shoot. There are a ton of great ladies bows out there.

My wife shot a Hoyt Spyder first. Shot it for a year than went and shot a chill sdx and loves it ! Great women's bow. She's shooting 46# and killed her first hog with it last month. Find a shop that has lower poundage bows and take her to go shoot. Just like Hoyt's fit me well. And mathews fit my wife well.

I agree with Fishndadio take her and let the shoot the different bows. Let the right bow find her instead of buying what is good for someone else buy the one that fits her best.

my wife has a mission craze..up to 35#'s and working to increase it before we go for a deer kill...lots of adjustability on these bows..like they said just put a few in her hand and see how they feel. I know my wife went off looks first (of course) and then realized she liked this one better after she held them and pulled them back

I live in McKinney. Does anyone know of a place around here in Collin County. Sounds like I need to make the trek to Ft. Worth an take her to Cinnamon Creek Archery.

I'll set up every bow in the shop if she'd like.

I'm taking her to Elm Fork now to shoot skeet. We may make it out that way today!

Since you got a Mathews, may as well be a Jewel/pink bling!
