    Question for the brain trust

I was in the stand this evening when 2 young bucks came running in. One was a little 4 point that stopped at the feeder and then walked into the woods. The second deer was a freak, still a young deer but it had a 6 inch horn on the right that had little half inch forks at the top. On the left it had 2, 6 inch main beams, they split coming out of the skull. One had the same half inch forks at the top and the other was just a straight horn. Would he be legal to shoot?

Yep as long as the forks on the one side that has one main beam are less than an inch he is legal to shoot.

The side with one main beam and half inch forks would be considered "unbranched", the other side with 2 main beams coming out of the same pedicle would be consiered branched.

From your description, I think it would be legal. A pic sure would help though.
