I am looking at new rangefinder...looking for some opinions on the ARC or true angle distance. Just wondering if it is worth it?

For tree stand hunting a ARC rangefinder doesn't add much value.
If your stand is 10' high and the deer is 20 yards away, the angle is less than 10 degrees so there is only a fraction of a yard difference between line of sight distance and horizontal distance.
If you are hunting in the mountains where you might have a really steep shot, ARC is valuable. If you are making a steep shot and the deer is 20 yards away and 20 yards lower, the line of sight is 28 yards and the horizontal distance is 20 yards.

I have a leupold 1000 dna, I use it for bow and rifle. I do t think the angle is really that important at bow range but more for high angle shooting for a rifle in the mountains. I have used it for bowhunting and some flat rifle work. Despite not using it to its full potential and no more than 250 yards I love it. Besides its kinda like rating a gun safe, you,re lucky if you can get an actual 1000 yards out of it in the field. It's well worth getting one you will find yourself getting the distance on every point from your blind. To answer the question though the true angle thing is only for high angle rifle shooting, that's where you will make your money
