I got all the multi-colored LEDs on the house today. The switch from C9s to LEDs was the best move ever. I no longer have the 3 strand restriction that comes with the C9s.
I believe it ended up being 8 strands of lights on the roof this year.
I got both trees set up yesterday. Yes, we have 2 trees in the house every year. I'm glad to have the bulk of this done and now we can just enjoy it for a month.

Here is the wife's Christmas quilt. She has skills. This thing measures about 5ft x 6ft or so.

          This is my excuse

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) estimates there were 15,000 injuries involving holiday decorating seen in emergency departments nationwide during November and December 2012. This is the fourth consecutive year these estimates have increased. In each year since 2009, there have been an estimated 12,000 or more emergency department visits. Falling from a ladder and stepping on broken ornaments may be funny in holiday movies but in real life, these and similar mishaps result in visits to the emergency room, or calls to fire departments, for thousands of consumers each year.

It took me 4hrs yesterday just to get the stuff down out of the attic and just put the tree up. No decorating or anything. Either we have too much crap or y'all have more git up an go than I do.

Well there you go. Friends don't let friends hang Christmas lights. I'm spared the outside Christmas lights ritual. If you can see my lights, you're trespassing; so why put them up for no one to see.

Well all the lights are up on the house, sitting down with a plate of leftovers and a margarita watching the Texans game.

We got to do that, but red white and green. Tried to keep the pattern going from one strand to the next. Had a few beers while doing so, while we kept the pattern going from one strand to the next, there's a mix up or two mid strand.
