More detail. Do you get electrical power anywhere (radio, lights, etc.)?

If it's turning over check the valve stem fitting to see if you have fuel pressure.

Pull a spark plug, ground it and see if you have fire

Kanuter valve is like a muffler bearing and turn signal fluid; they don't exist.

I'm not familiar with that year model, but an ignition module comes to mind. Maybe it doesn't have one. I don't know.

How wet did things get under the hood while mudding?

I have a 97 xj cherokee and the only problem I have had with it when going mudding and through hood depth mud/water is water came in air box and I couldn't start it till it all dried up..

Either borrow somebody's code scanner with appropriate cable or if you can make it to an auto parts store, have them scan it to find the code.
