    Buck of Lifetime Part Dos

Well this year I had my Buck of Lifetime in early October taken on the Double J Ranch in Big Wells scored 202 5/8". I was suppose to be hunting a 180-190" buck. Search for elwebman and you find part 1 story. Part Dos is another barter buck for website/social media. Best part of this one is there is 2 separate accounts the outfitter CH Wildlife Services and the ranch JHA Ranch in George West. Last year I saved my credit to double down this year also did some extra graphic design work for both. We set up the hunt for Nov.21st weekend knowing I would be taking at least a 180" buck but was also told it may be bigger cuz they hadn't seen too many 170-180" deer. Chase the outfitter had some deer in mind and when he was going over the bucks with guide he told me to leave room so I could be surprised by what we were hunting he's like I promise your gonna be happy there are 3 bucks in the area we were hunting. Chase pretty much had given the green light on anything big. First hunt sucked wind was blowing like crazy and rain. Saw some young deer and a few hogs but no mature bucks. After good night sleep we set out the next morning raining on and off again. Got in the blind early as daylight broke we had some more young deer and big pack of hogs again after about 20mins here comes a big buck out of the brush to one of the feeders. The guide gets his spotting scope and begins to score and really check the buck out from where I'm sitting you can tell this buck has a huge rack and mature. He's shaking his head and water from his rack is flying everywhere. At this point again I'm waiting for the green light from my guide Colby doesn't really say much for a good 5 mins as I see the buck turn like he's fixing to walk away I tell him WTH is he a shooter he's like ya if you like him you can take him Chase said you can take just about any mature buck out here so I'm like get out of the way lets do this.. I asked what you think he'll score he said at least 190". Like my other buck didn't get him on film because of time plus Colby couldn't find the shutter on the camera so told him screw it this buck is gonna leave let's get him. Buck fever starts kicking in and I can't get a good rest finally I line him up and squeeze off a speeding .270 bullet to his shoulder, buck does a awesome high kick so I know he's hit good Colby also assures he's hit good. We wait about 20mins and head out to find him we see no blood where he was hit **** core lock bullets we decide to cheat and press on sure enough not 30 yards from where he was hit he's crashed in the brush. High fives and a few pics we get him loaded up where we do a quick scoring of the buck and he's a solid 190+". I had entered a few deer contest so headed over to Freer for the Muy Grande Deer contest I get my buck officially scored and surprisingly he scored 205 1/8"! Again, I am surprised and had my 2nd buck of a lifetime part dos scoring over 200".
